Fred's Customs operates QuoteCraft and is the controller of the personal data described here.

Data we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, login credentials): to create your account and provide the service. Basis: contract.
• Business and customer records you enter (customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos): to provide the service. Basis: contract.
• Usage data, device and IP address: for security, fraud prevention and improving the product. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages: to help you. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Marketing emails: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Photos and descriptions you submit for AI estimates are processed by our AI provider only to generate suggestions and are not used to train models.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host and run QuoteCraft (hosting, database, AI processing).
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling plans, managing subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after it closes, unless the law requires longer. Then it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to certain processing. Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK or the EU) you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us through the app and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data separation to protect your information.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
